Further to our beginning of the month trials, we have now successfully managed a smooth scaling up from DN50 inverted pocket filter© to a DN110 ASTRO© filter.
Fully automated, the DN110 ASTRO© filter allows higher throughputs and will prepare for industrial scale implementation.
Compared to the current batch process, filtration, washing, and drying times are significantly reduced, on a drastically smaller footprint.
This is topping on our “2 in 1” continuous crystallization strategy: it prevents the need of post batch crystallization micronization, and is much faster !
